Early History of the Club
An early history of the Club has been prepared and is available here to Members for a limited time.
The Club's "Historian", Ken Miller, ably assisted by the team that produces our Newsletter, has compiled a history of the early days of the Club. At this stage it is proposed that the history could be incorporated into the Newsletter, but these plans are not yet finalised. Because of the size of the documents, they will be deleted from this site when the History is available as a hard copy.
In the meantime, this document can be accessed as a pdf file from this website. Naturally, with the age of some of the photographs, clarity is a bit of a problem, but Members are sure to find something of interest in the document, which can be accessed by clicking here. The second page of the document can be accessed here. Ken has also asked that any long-time members, or past members who have items of historical interest about the Club should contact him.
